Sponsor Genoa-Kingston Wrestling Club
The Genoa-Kingston Wrestling Club is seeking sponsors for its upcoming season.
In order to assure a successful wrestling program for the youth of our community, we rely on local businesses to provide sponsorship and help underwrite the cost of the program. We are a youth sports organization, established in 2006 after recognizing the need for a community based program that will be a feeder program for our middle and high school wrestling teams.
Our wrestling club is open to all student-athletes in the Genoa-Kingston area. Our program teaches the fundamentals of wrestling to school aged athletes, kindergarten through eighth grade. Our wrestling season runs from the end of November through the end of February. We practice at the Genoa-Kingston Middle School on Monday and Wednesday nights. Wrestling is a sport of individual participation functioning within the framework of a team concept. This aspect contributes to the development of life long patterns of responsible behaviors including discipline, respect for others, and the ability to set goals and achieve them. A young person involved in wrestling can be expected to display increasing self confidence, and appreciation of their self worth.
All of the collected funds will be directed towards uniforms, equipment, sponsor t-shirts, end of season awards party and all tournament entry fees for our wrestlers. With your support no wrestler will be denied because of financial means. This also helps lift the financial burden off of our wrestling families and allows us to keep our registration fee to only $50.00. Your donation will help guarantee that this becomes a successful and enjoyable season.
