"Welcome To the Genoa-Kingston Wrestling Club"
Wrestling is a unique sport in that it provides both physical and mental development. We are a club that provides wrestling instruction for youths ages 5 - 14. Our purpose is to support GK Wrestling at all levels. We want to promote this great sport to the local community and develop student-athletes and their love for wrestling at the club, middle school, high school levels.

Our emphasis involves the fundamentals that will help each wrestler with physical and mental growth on and off the wrestling mat. Our club promotes a safe, positive and friendly atmosphere where those interested in wrestling can learn about the sport, have fun, create friendships, develop confidence, improve strength, reaction time, quickness and balance. We focus on good sportsmanship, respect for authority and skills needed to achieve success at the highest level.
Our club attends tournaments almost every weekend starting in December. These tournaments are mostly held in the local area; providing an excellent opportunity for the wrestlers to put the skills they learned at practice into action on the mat. Tournaments provide wrestlers with a chance to wrestle kids from other clubs that are around the same age and weight.
